I'm a d&d master. Actually I'm the best master I saw in 12 years of playing. Yes I'm very modest.

Now I'm trying to make a good map of a city. And when I say "good" i mean "ehy it seems like an official map, where do you ripped it?".

So I started examining the maps Wizards of The Coast distribute with the new 4th edition manuals.

First thing is that I can clearly see the various layer. So they are not totally handmade. Grass, Trees, Fields. They are simply pattern overlapped.

The roads are too standard to be drawn, so I thought "Wow, they must have some software to make it". And I'm probably right. A software where you can draw a river simply selecting river and dragging your mouse. The question is: Will We Ever Be Able To Use That Software?

Right now I'm simply stealing pattern from their maps.
